since we don’t live near a place that sharpens skates i decided to purchase this skate sharpener and it works great it’s easy to use and it only takes a few minutes to sharpen your skates.
4 Stars Good tool for touch-ups and a good price
This device is really not intended to replace a professional skate sharpening machine that is done in the pro-shops. However, for touch ups or emergency sharpening or to get a minor ding out while your on the bench this gets the job done. I find you can extend how long you have to go between sharpening too, so it will more than pay for itself over time. It is adjustable and easy to use. You should also get the replacement drums too because they do wear out. It is pretty simple to operate. For the money…it is a must-have in your hockey bag.
