Great balance. Light weight but quality built. Comes razor sharp and retains sharpness well. Very strong blade. full tang.
Recommend it?
Yes. It’s a good choice if you are looking for a knife for the woods or as a tactical weapon. The only real drawback I’ve seen is the pommel. Its a personal preference of mine that a tactical blade have a strong pommel for less than leathal attacks, but I would still choose this weapon over a K-bar which does infact have a good pommel (personal choice, I’m not knocking K-bar’s, I own one myself and like it just fine). If I could give this knife four and half stars I would because of the inferior pommel. I can’t however and I would rather round up than down so there you go.

Good knife for self defense. It has a good length to pierce everything you want. The length is imprtant to solve your issue efficiently.

The description of the item is not accurate. I was hoping it was made of Carbon V isntead of AUS-8A. One star for gross misrepresentation.
5 Stars Flawless
I received my knife the day before yesterday. I was very pleased that it arrived before Christmas. The box was kinda damaged but I am not sure if that was the seller’s fault or the mails. That didn’t really matter because the product itself was received flawless, perfect in every way. It is completely symmetric and it is so sharp that you get cut just by looking at it. The kraton handle allows for a very good grip. The black coat is delicate and it will easily scratch but I expected no less since I read information about the knife before purchasing it. The coat doesn’t really matter, it can be coated again. The metal itself is really good and nearly impossible to dent. Good value for the money.
5 Stars Wish it were the Carbon V…
None the less it sharpens nicely, and holds a good edge, more than one can say for 99.999999999999% of the knives out there. You can get high dollar knives that will not sharpen well. I used to work as an instructor in a class where we needed to keep knives very sharp, so I have a lot of experience sharpening knives. This thing is going to sit on a shelf in my house and likely never be used for more than opening a box or such anyway, but it was a gift and it is a very good knife! My youngest son also has one and punishes his, it has held up exceptionally well to his abuse.
